In the world of golf, Watson’s name is synonymous with dedication, excellence, and integrity. He brings these same qualities to each of his golf course designs.
Each course is designed to challenge the limits of the golfer’s mental and physical skills. With this goal in mind, Watson strives to excite golfers of every caliber all the while providing a memorable golfing experience. This is done by giving the
illusion that a shot is more difficult or easier than it actually is.
“My goals as a designer are many fold. The two most important criteria are beauty and playability.” — Tom Watson
Tom Watson achieves these two vital criteria within the ultimate framework of remaining sensitive to the environment, providing innovative design, drawing inspiration from the site, and meeting the economic parameters of the entire project.
Robert M. Gibbons, ASLA, ASGCA, is responsible for monitoring the construction of courses and maintaining the integrity of the design.
Earning both a degree in Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering from Purdue University, Gibbons is uniquely qualified to handle varying terrian and climates, ever mindful of enhancing and protecting the land’s natural resources.

“The true test of a great golf course is after the golfer finishes on #18 … they want to play it again … soon.” — Tom Watson
Watson works closely with the development team to ensure the project’s objectives are met.
